Take Your Hat Off!

remove hat prayHave you ever noticed a man taking his hat off , before he prays the blessing for a meal? or before prayer of any kind? In case you did not realize it; this is based upon a spiritual truth in the Holy Bible.

First Corinthians 11:4, “Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonors his head.”

Notice, if the man is praying or prophesying with his head covered; he brings dishonor to his head. First Corinthians 11:4 clearly states, that Christ is the head of the man. OBVIOUSLY, Almighty God is telling us, that if a man is praying or prophesying with his head covered, then he is bringing dishonor upon Christ Himself.

It is exact opposite for women. Women who pray or prophesy without their head covered, dishonor their head. The woman’s head is the man; therefore, a woman who prays or prophesies without her head covered, brings dishonor onto her man. If she is married, then she is treating her husband dishonorably every time she prays or prophesies without her head covered. If she has never married, then she is bringing dishonor upon her dad. These are Almighty God’s words.

First Corinthians 11:5, “But every woman that prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head . . .”

First Corinthians 11:15, “But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her, for her hair is given her for a covering.” A woman’s long hair is her natural God-given head covering.

What if a woman has a medical condition causing her to have short hair? Good question. She may put on a long scarf or shawl over her head and around her shoulders. This also satisfies our Lord’s commandment for a woman to pray with her head covered. The word covering in the text means: something thrown around one; that is, a mantle, veil: – covering, vesture.

I can almost hear people saying, “Mickey, you are a male-chauvinist.”

Hmmm. Whoever would say such a thing should first read First Corinthians 14:37, for I am merely repeating the commandments of our Lord.

First Corinthians 14:37, “If any man think himself to be a prophet or spiritual, let him acknowledge, that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.”

I can almost hear some people saying, “But Mickey, those things were written to the people at Corinth way back when. Let the record be set straight upon this subject by reading First Corinthians 1:2.

First Corinthians 1:2, “Unto the Church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ out Lord, both theirs and ours.”

Question: Are you sanctified in Christ Jesus? Are you called to be a saint? Do you call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord? Do you live some place?

Answer: If you are a Christian, then all of the Book of First Corinthians applies to you and me, regardless of where we live.

You may ask, “But I don’t get it. Why would this be a requirement of Almighty God?”

It has to do with authority and the proper way to approach Almighty God. Do you remember the story about Esther in the Book of Esther? No one was allowed to approach the king in the inner court without being called there, on pain of death. Anyone who went into the inner court without being summoned would be put to death, except in the case, that the king should hold out his golden scepter, that he may live.

YaHshua Jesus is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. There is no greater king than our God. Almighty God has proper protocols for approaching Him. One of these protocols has to do with acknowledging to the Almighty your proper place before Him. A man may approach the Almighty in prayer, IF, his head is uncovered. (i.e. take off hat, turban, helmet, not have long hair. Yes, it is a shame for a man to have long hair First Corinthians 11:14). This demonstrates, that a man’s authority is Christ. A woman may approach Almighty God, IF, her head is covered (this demonstrates, that her head is her husband or is her dad if she is unmarried).

You may say, “This is ridiculous!”

Careful. This is NOT ridiculous, because it is a commandment of our Lord. What part of the WORD may we disregard? Could it be, that many prayers are not answered because of our careless disregard for this principle of Almighty God? Ladies and gentlemen: proceed with caution and do not set yourself up for failure.

Wise Men In Iran

Several unusually wise men in Iran discovered unsurpassed treasure. They laid plans for the trip of a lifetime to see for themselves. Their journey took them across nations, without modern roads or machinery.

These men were astronomers as it were and of the magos. Although we don’t know for sure they were from Persia, the evidence is strong that they indeed were. They searched the heavens for direction. 1000 miles later, they found themselves in Jerusalem, Israel. They inquired as to the location of Israel’s newly born king. The people of Jerusalem were perplexed. Religious men suggested, that Micah the prophet prophesied of a King born in Bethlehem, Israel.

They followed His star to a house in Bethlehem Israel, where they found the young King. Imagine the Iranian travelers bowing down and worshipping YaHshua Jesus, son of Mary, son of Joseph, son of Almighty YaHVeH. Imagine their joy, when the journey of a lifetime resulted in 100% success in searching for the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

The Iranians presented precious gifts: gold, myrrh and frankincense, which they had carried some 1000 miles. The Iranians must have been men of great faith, to be so sure they would find the Messiah. Perhaps they had been greatly moved by writings they had discovered in Persia, left by Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego and others.

Almighty God does not send anyone away empty. Whoever searches for the Messiah with all of their heart will indeed find Him. The Iranian/Persian men were never the same. Their lives are a testimony against all who do not diligently pursue the Creator with an open heart and mind.

Jews Are Special To YHVH

Image result for images MessiahJews have performed an indispensable service to all nations and peoples of all time. Almighty God has blessed them beyond measure and He is not yet finished with them. Please pay close attention to what YHVH says about Judah the father of the Jews.

Genesis 49:8-12, “Judah, you are he whom your brethren shall praise. Your hands shall be on the neck of your enemies. Your father’s children shall bow down before you. Judah is a lion’s whelp. From the prey, my son, you have gone up. He stooped down. He couched as a lion and as an old lion. Who shall rouse him up? The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come, and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. Binding his foal unto the vine and his ass’s colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine and his clothes in the blood of grapes. His eyes shall be red with wine and his teeth white with milk.

Super-incredible prophecy! Judah would be the greatest among the 12 brothers and he would fully submit his enemies. Notice it says, that his father’s children would bow to him and that he is a king with a scepter and will continue in this fashion until Messiah come and then all the people would gather to him. Judah is compared to a lion that has taken its prey, as one who crushes his enemies. When he lies down, who will dare to bother him?

Micah 5:2 teaches us, that the eternal Messiah will come out of Bethlehem of Judah.

Isaiah 9:6-7 informs us, that He will sit on the throne of David and establish the Messiah’s rule from Israel in judgment and justice forever.

The most famous Jew in the history of the world is YaHshua Jesus the eternal Son of YHVH. He fulfilled the prophecies in Isaiah 53 perfectly and completed the greatest warrior conquest of all time in defeating Satan, hell, death and the grave. This YaHshua Jesus perfectly fulfilled all the Hebrew scriptures concerning Messiah. He payed in full for the sins of all men in sacrificing His own life on the cross and becoming a curse in our place. He predicted, that He would rise from the dead on the third day. He indeed rose from the dead and this is the most documented event in ancient antiquity.

He will return to earth for all those who are dead and alive in Christ. He will set up His eternal kingdom and will rule forever and forever amen. All who are willing can be a part of His eternal kingdom. Those who wickedly turn down this most generous offer of all time will be crushed for all eternity, including Lucifer with all the fallen angels.

YaHshua Jesus is the mightiest of all the mighty warriors, kings and conquerors. He is the King of kings and the Lord of Lords. He is the WORD and Almighty YHVH has given Him a name above all names. At the name of YaHshua Jesus, every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord to the glory of God the Father.

I repeat, “The Jews have performed an indispensable service to all nations and peoples for Almighty God Himself and YHVH has blessed them beyond measure.”

So go ahead world and curse the Jews if that is what you want to do. Go ahead and divide their land if you can, but Almighty God will roar from heaven against you one day and there will be none to save you. Instead, why not change your mind and accept the salvation that YaHshua brings and be healed.

Joy to the world, Messiah has come. Let earth receive her king. Merry Christmas!

Yahshua Jesus IS The Jewish Passover Lamb

the_ten_commandments_john_derek_plaugesThe Jewish Passover instituted by Moses at the instructions of YaHVeH was and is all about Yahshua Jesus. The sons of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were commanded to kill a perfect lamb. They were to take the blood of that lamb and smear it upon the posts and lintel of the door of every household of the Hebrews and then they were to eat the Passover lamb.

The applying of the blood not only delivered them in Egypt, but was also a symbol of a much greater event in time future. Provocative questions surface. Why a perfect spotless lamb? Why the blood of the lamb? Why a death angel passing over not only the Egyptians, but also the Hebrews? Why the death of all the firstborn?

The lamb-sacrifices represented the real sacrifice which was to come: the perfect Lamb of God (Yahshua Jesus), who would come to take away the sins of the world. The lamb had to be spotless, for it represented Yahshua Jesus, who was without sin and therefore eligible to atone for the sins of man. Life is in the blood and thus Christ gave His life to rescue us from sin and death through His imagesblood. When the Hebrews smeared the blood on the posts and lintel of the door, they were figuratively spreading the life of Christ on their doors for deliverance from the death angel. The death angel visited every home of both Hebrew and Egyptian. The firstborn of every household died in Egypt on Passover, except in the households where blood was smeared on the posts and lintel of the door. God gave His firstborn and only Son as a sacrificial Lamb in your place and in my place and whoever accepts this by faith will be delivered from eternal damnation.

It is astonishing, that Christ was crucified on Passover and apparently at the normal time for the traditional lamb sacrifice. The Jewish people and the Romans sacrificed Him on the cross. They did not realize, that they were offering the final and ultimate sacrifice for sins. Someone had to do it, because it was impossible that Almighty God’s plan of redemption would not be completed. The Hebrews were chosen by YaHVeH for this very purpose; to birth the Messiah and complete the plan of salvation. Jesus Jew, the King of the Jews, the Son of YaHVeH fulfilled all the Hebrew prophecies concerning Messiah in a most splendid fashion.

In Genesis 22:7-8 Abraham told his son Isaac that Almighty God would provide Himself a Lamb. YES INDEED! Because Abraham did not withhold his son from Almighty God; so also, Almighty God did not withhold His only begotten Son. HalleleuYaH what a Savior!who-killed-jesus-37-638

King of Kings

images (1)Yahshua Jesus instructed his disciples to bring a certain donkey to Him. He then mounted up and proceeded to ride into Jerusalem the holy city. Throngs of people placed their cloaks in the road before Him, waving palm branches and celebrating the coming of Messiah (Meshiak). Yahshua Jesus did not ask permission to do this: He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He deservedly received their worship and praise. The Jewish rulers were incensed and desired Him to silence the celebrators; to which He responded, “If these hush the stones would immediately cry out”. One week later Christ deliberately delivered Himself into the hands of His adversaries to become a blood sacrifice for sins.  He exercised incredible self-control in submitting to crucifixion, when He could have slaughtered His tormentors effortlessly. HalleleuYaH  to the mighty warrior Yahshua! The world is full of people who resist their own Creator, and Almighty God has appointed a grace period in which He indulges this foolishness.  He waits patiently, while most of the world treats Him spitefully. He is undaunted by these rebellious souls, who SEEM to rule the day. The Almighty has prepared a day for righting all wrongs and for bringing 100% justice to all people. He sits serenely on His thrown as they vainly hurl their insults and smugly proclaim disbelief in His very existence. It is His hearts desire to be a Loving Father even to the brashest of the brash. At the appointed time, Christ will warrior into Jerusalem on a white horse with the title “King of Kings and Lord of Lords” written plainly for all to see. The time for riding lowly donkeys and withholding His mighty hand will have passed and the fate of billions will be sealed.
