World rulers are determined to tear off every restraint and throw these restraints away.
Let me clarify: not every ruler hates Christ, but the vast majority do. Lawlessness is in the heart of rulers, generally speaking. When the rulers are Godly; the nation tends to be more Godly. When the rulers are evil, then the nation tends to be more evil. Here is proof.
Psalms 2:1- 3, “Why do the heathen rage and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together against YaHVeH and against His anointed saying: Let us break their bands asunder, and cast their cords away from us.”
Mankind is fallen and desperately in need of a makeover. Millions upon millions of people have allowed themselves to be deceived about eternity. Millions are living their lives like there is no tomorrow.
My fellow Christian, many of our lamps are flickering for lack of oil. The god of this world has filled our lives with distractions and compromise. Many are building their lives on sinking sand instead of the Solid Rock.
The wolves are circling the sheep and steadily cutting careless ones out of the flock to be devoured. We must shed our sin stained garments and wash them white in the precious Blood of the Lamb.
“Take heed brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God”. Hebrews 3:12
Almighty God looks at the heart. Are you keeping your heart right before Him, or are you allowing your garments to be once again stained with sin?
Wake up My beloved and be vigilant, for I will return at an hour that you think not.
Many Christians falsely think, that we are supposed to be weak and mild. I detest such a distorted picture. I want my fellow Christians to know, that while we are supposed to be kind and gentle and loving; we are also supposed to be mighty-in-spirit, bold, fearless, and standing up mightily for the Kingdom of God.
Christ said to “turn the other cheek” in the sermon on the mount, and in John 2:15 Christ made a type of whip and drove the profiteers from the temple. He poured out their money and turned their tables over. This was a very aggressive act at the hands of Christ.
In Luke chapter 10 Christ taught about “loving our neighbor”, and in Matthew chapter 23 Christ repeatedly called the scribes and Pharisees hypocrites.
Check out this passage in Luke 13:31-33, “The same day there came certain of the Pharisees saying unto Him: Get you out and depart hence for Herod will kill you. And He said unto them: You go and tell that fox, behold I cast out devils and I do cures today and tomorrow and the third day I shall be perfected. Nevertheless I must walk today and tomorrow and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet be destroyed out of Jerusalem.”
I love how Christ rose up forcefully to let them know, that He was not afraid of Herod. In His zeal, Christ retorted for them to go tell Herod a thing or two. Then sarcastically, Christ pointed out, that Jerusalem had the reputation for destroying Almighty God’s prophets.
One of the primary functions for my blog is to encourage my brothers and sisters-in-Christ to be aggressive, yet harmless. Have you heard the term “the Church militant”? The Church is not some wimpy organization for weak people to use as a crutch. The Church is the body of Christ. Christ is the Lion and the Lamb. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but spiritual. We tread on serpents and scorpions, and through Christ we are not afraid of Satan or demons or tyrants or haters-of-Almighty-God. We are willing to be decapitated for the cause of Christ, and until then push back relentlessly against the works of darkness until that day. We do cling to our guns and religion just like Barack Obama said. It is the right thing to do. We will defend and protect the innocent and the helpless and the ones we love even with violence if necessary. We will not initiate hostilities, but woe to they who presume we will not lift a finger to protect our beloved. We will sound the trumpet from the highest mountains and warn the world of sin and evil. We are not ashamed of the gospel of Christ and we are proud to be numbered with the saints.
