YaHshua Jesus spoke much about the “Kingdom of God”. Every human being in all of the earth is invited to be a part of the “Kingdom of God”.
The most important requirement to be a part of the “Kingdom of God” is to “KNOW” God the Father and God the Son: John 17:3, “And this is life eternal, that they may know You the only true God, and Jesus Christ Whom You have sent.”
So you see; the kingdom of God is all about a right relationship with Almighty God and the most important benefit of this relationship is eternal life.
Christianity is: the religion based on the person and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth; therefore, Christianity and the “Kingdom of God” are one and the same. I must hasten to say, that not everyone who professes to be a Christian is a part of the “Kingdom of God”. A person must have a personal intimate relationship with Christ to be a genuine Christian. Almighty God knows our hearts and He knows if we are truly a Christian and truly a part of His kingdom.
So what good is Christianity or what good is the “Kingdom of God”? Being a part of the “Kingdom of God”, results in eternal life. John 14:6, “Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man goes to the Father except by Me.” Also, Christianity is tasked with spreading the good news of Christ to the secular world, so that they can also know Him and also have eternal life in Him.
Let me share a little more about myself. I am chosen by Almighty God to “proclaim divine truth”. This includes proclaiming these truths both to the secular world and also to the Church. Almighty God has made me an extremely objective person. He has given me the ability to sort through all the stuff and get to His truth. I know, that it is the truth that makes us free. It is what makes the secular world free, if they will only embrace it, and it is what makes the Church free as well. The Church is oftentimes careless in dismissing parts of “The Word”, that we do not like, and this results in a diminishing of the power and effectiveness of the Church. Remember, it is not “part” of the Word that makes us free. We are to love and embrace “all” of the Word. I look forward to the day, that the Church will be ONE.
