#1 Before Christ returns, the Man of Sin must be revealed. II Thessalonians 2:3 Godly men of understanding will know when this takes place. In the same passage the Holy Spirit warns us not to let anyone deceive us concerning these things. The false Christ or anti-Christ will precede the return of the real Messiah Yahshua Jesus.
#2 There will be a falling away. II Thessalonians 2:3 This term falling away is from the Greek word “apostasia” or apostasy in English, and it means “defection from the truth”. Many professing Christians will defect from the truth.
#3 The sun will be darkened, the moon will not give its light, the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken. Matthew 24:29-30 These events will be more or less simultaneous. If you see only one of these signs, it is not yet time. If you see two of these signs, it is not yet time. All these signs will take place just before Christ returns. No one knows the day or the hour these signs will take place, but when you see these signs, Christ’s coming is imminent.
