Naftali Bennett is one of Israel’s finest and I want to tell you some about him. He said recently, that the Torah was Israel’s deed to the land of Israel. Naftali was born in Haifa, Israel to parents who made aliyah from California, United States. Aliyah is simply the act of Jews immigrating to Israel from the diaspora. His father has roots in Poland, Germany and the Netherlands and both parents are Modern Orthodox Jews. Naftali served in the IDF (Israeli Defense Force) during the Lebanon War and participated in operations behind enemy lines. He moved to New York City where he and a partner created a software company named Cyota, which was later sold for around 145 million dollars. Needless to say, he is now a wealthy man. Naftali served as Chief of staff for Benjamin Netanyahu in 2007 while Netanyahu was part of the opposition. Later he left the Likud Party and joined “The Jewish Home” and subsequently was voted as head of that group, which gained 12 seats in the Knesset. This positioned him well to be an important part of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s governing coalition. Naftali is Minister of the economy, Minister of Religious Services and Minister of Jerusalem and Diaspora Affairs. He has proposed annexing area C of the so-called West Bank and quite frankly would prefer adding the total of the West Bank to Israel. He also supports construction in the what is known as the settlements. Naftali commonly wears a “kippah”, which is the beanie style hat that some Jews wear. Doing this is a way of honoring YaHVeH, the God of Israel, the one and only true and living God. He is a very religious man, that believes the land is an important part of Israel and is opposed to giving any more land to Arabs. Naftali is apparently opposed to same-sex marriage and takes this stance seriously. He made a statement saying that he is not so much concerned about what people think, but what the Torah says. The Torah especially includes the first five books of the Holy Bible (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy). Naftali Bennett is an exceptionally bright, intelligent, strong, capable, fearless, courageous, innovative, pious and God-fearing man. I have found few equals of this man among men, and he impresses me on many levels. While I have a lot of respect for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, I believe Naftali Bennett would make an excellent Prime Minister. Many people in high places fear such a man as Naftali, as he thinks outside the box and is absolutely not confined to the status-quo. But one thing can be said about Naftali: He loves the nation of Israel from the depths of his heart and soul, and he loves Almighty God. A man like him has the potential to bring back the glory of Israel as it was in ancient times by the help of YaHVeH. He is a man of rare beauty and potential greatness. I greatly respect Naftali and hope that he reaches the top in due time. I hope some day I can meet this interesting man. Almighty God bless you Naftali Bennett as you search after the heart of Almighty God in all that you do.
