The World Is Doomed

Image result for images four horsemen of the apocalypse

Woe to the world for offenses. The single most notable characteristic of the world is its choice to resist the Creator. Almighty God gave man the power to choose and the vast majority of humanity chooses defiance, refusal, revolt, insurrection, rebellion, chaos, stubbornness, to be ornery, to be hard-headed, to be stiffnecked, to be pernicious, to be malevolent, to be malicious.

The world rejects its own salvation. The world shakes its fist in the face of Almighty God, while expecting Almighty God to respond in kindness. The world stubbornly disobeys the Almighty and argues, that a God of Love should be okay with that. The world rejects the Creator’s only remedy: YaHshua Jesus the Savior, the Son of God, the perfect sacrifice for man’s sins.

Every single human being has the power to choose life.

YaHshua Jesus declares in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth and the life. Nobody goes to the Father except by Me.”

YaHshua Jesus shed His own blood on the cross, even unto death, so that everyone could choose to have life in Him; but no, the world refuses the best offer of all eternity. Only a select few are wise enough to take Him up on His offer.

The world thinks it can be good enough BY ITS OWN DEEDS to gain eternal life; but in the process, REFUSES YaHshua Jesus. Islam is all about earning eternal life. Buddhism is all about earning eternal life. Hinduism is all about earning eternal life. Confucionsism is all about earning eternal life. Judaism is all about earning eternal life. Most of the religions of the world are all about becoming good enough to obtain eternal life. Satanism, and such like, openly rebel against the Creator and seek to supplant the Almighty both now and in eternity.

True Christianity accepts the fact, that mankind cannot do enough good deeds to gain eternal life. I say TRUE CHRISTIANITY, because there are many who profess to be Christians, and yet they are not Christians at all. True Christians understand, that they can only gain eternal life through YaHshua Jesus. Christ lived a perfect sinless life, sacrificed Himself on the cross even unto death, broke the power of death by rising from the dead, and offers all human beings eternal life through Himself.

Christianity does not have salvation in and of itself, but offers eternal life through YaHshua Jesus, and that is what TRUE CHRISTIANITY is all about. The world is doomed because of its rebellion, but all who turn to Christ in genuine repentance will live forever. That is an offer I will not refuse. I am not a good person on my own, but I am a saint THROUGH CHRIST.

Love’s 13 Essential Ingredients

Holland.-River-of-Flowers-KeukenhofTake this test to see if you know how to love. If you want to be a great person of love, then you should strive to add all these ingredients to your interaction with other people.

#1.  Are you patient with people? Another description of patience is “suffering long”. Do you suffer long with people? Are you willing to endure things about other people that you do not like?

#2.  Are you a kind person? Kindness is an important facet of love. Are you rough and careless and mean to people or do they sense that you care about them?

#3.  When someone has something that you wish you had, do you resent them for it? Are you envious of them in a bad way for this reason?

#4.  Are you boastful and braggadocious? This is a sign that you do not love the way you should. Boastfulness and humility are opposites. Pure love is not haughty and arrogant.

#5.  Do you behave appropriately around people? Do you act correctly in a way that fits each situation?

#6.  Are you a selfish person? Love is not selfish. Love is looking to the needs of others besides yourself.

#7.  Are you easily provoked in a bad way? It takes a lot to provoke a person of love.

#8.  Love does not have harmful intentions. Do you wish bad things for some people?

#9.  Do you rejoice sometimes at sinful behavior? If you do, then you have not learned to properly love. Proper love delights in truth instead.Screen-shot-2012-06-12-at-7.54.06-PM-620x443

#10.  Are you able to “cover with silence” things that must not be spoken of to others? Pure love learns to wisely be silent about certain things you know.

#11.  How committed are you? Are you in it for the long haul? Are you a fair weather friend?

#12.  Do you always hold out hope? Or is your love shallow?

#13.  Last but not least, do you give up on people? This is perhaps the most important aspect of love. Love endures and continues on and keeps going. We are all human and need to be able to count on others. Does your love fail?

If you do not measure up to these criteria, do not lose heart. Real and pure love has a way of growing up and becoming mature. Most of us can grow in love, and I encourage you to mature into being a person of great love.
