Do you sigh and cry over the abominations all around us? The Almighty is grieved by our tolerance of such evil. When I say tolerance; I mean, that you no longer groan or wince or moan when faced with evil, because you have allowed your heart to become calloused or emotionally hardened.
“Oh well,” we say. “There is nothing I can do about it.”
This position is unacceptable to Almighty God and you need to read the following passage of the Holy Bible to know His heart on the matter.
Ezekiel 9:4-6 , “And the Lord said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof. And to the others he said in my hearing, Go after him through the city and smite: let not your eye spare neither have pity. Slay utterly old and young, both maids and little children and women, but come not near any man upon whom is the mark and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.”
Many nations of the earth have hardened their hearts against evil. If you and I are the kind of Christian we are supposed to be, THEN we will purposefully retain a soft heart for our great and Almighty God YaHVeH. There are many professing Christians that no longer groan at the evil all around, and this has put their very life in danger. Notice the above passage. Almighty God’s long-suffering does not endure forever. There is that point in time when He has had enough. There is also that point in time when there is no longer a remedy.
II Chronicles 13:16, “But they mocked the messengers of God and despised His words and misused His prophets, until the wrath of YaHVeH arose against His people, til there was no remedy.”
All you Christian peoples of every tribe and nation remember this all the days of your life: you have a duty to remain vigilant, to continue to hate evil, to continue to salt the earth, to continue to shine your light, to wash your garments that are stained with sin and make them white in the blood of the Lamb. Almighty God has no pleasure in those who turn a blind eye to sin. The Holy Bible makes it clear that all of us have sin. If we will confess our sins and turn away from them, then He will have mercy upon us. If we will continue to sigh and cry for all the abominations, then He will gladly claim us as His own.
