Some Sins Greater Than Others

Ecce Home (Behold the Man), Antonio CiseriIt is believed by many, that there are no big sins, little sins. The words of Christ Himself refute this idea. Take a look at this passage in the Book of John.

John 19:10-11, “Then said Pilate unto Him, Speakest thou not to me? Knowest thou not that I have power to crucify you and have power to release you? Jesus answered, you could have no power at all against me, except it were given you from above; therefore, he that delivered Me unto you hath the greater sin.”

In the Greek, the word greater means larger. What Judas Iscariot did in betraying Christ was larger, than what the Roman governor Pilate did.
