Some time ago I sought the answer to this question: What event signals the beginning of the 7 year tribulation period? I searched high and low for the answer; but alas, it seemed to be quite elusive. Apparently the Holy Spirit desires that we diligently search for answers and not half-heartedly. After a good bit of consideration I believe I know the answer. If you read Revelation chapter five, there is a story about a little book that is sealed with seven seals. No man was found in heaven, earth or under the earth, that was worthy to open the book. The writer of Revelation, the apostle John, wept much because there was no man found worthy to open the book. One of the 24 elders tells John not to weep, because there is one who had prevailed to open the book, even the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, and to loose the seven seals. The little book was written by Almighty God concerning the end of the world as we know it, and the seven seals are the progressions of this end. Apparently the opening of the first seal signals the beginning of these two 3 1/2 year periods equaling seven years. When the first seal is opened, a rider rides forth on a white horse. It seems very sure that this man is non other than the anti-Christ. He is also referred to as the son of perdition or the man of sin. He goes forth to take control of the earth. Revelation chapter 13 seems to say quite a lot about this man and the one-world government he sets up. He is given much power to rule the earth and have his way for 42 months. He will conquer the world, he will force people to accept his mark/stamp either in their right hand or forehead, he will slaughter multitudes who refuse to go along with him, he will go into the temple of Almighty God and claim to be God and he will be extremely persuasive in convincing the world of his greatness and divinity. The majority of people on the earth will be mesmerized by him and deceived by his exceedingly great deceitfulness. They will buy into his lies to the extent of killing the people who do not agree to take the mark/stamp of this deceiver. Many professing Christians will defect from the truth to follow this deceiver. He is the epitome of the proverbial wolf in sheep’s clothing. He will appear to be the real Messiah, but he is not the Messiah at all. Those deceived by him will accept him as the Messiah and will put their trust in him. In the second book of Thessalonians chapter two, Almighty God warns us that this evil man will be revealed before Yahshua Jesus Christ (the real Messiah) comes for His bride the Church. The warning in this passage is so strong, that you need to be aware of the danger to men’s souls, even the danger that is posed to the souls of Christians. Are you a Christian? Then you have been warned. I beg you not to fall prey to this evil spirit of anti-Christ, for many will fall away from the truth and believe the lies. Not one jot or tittle will pass from the law until all is fulfilled. Whoever has an ear to hear, let them hear. Not long before the son of perdition is revealed, Almighty God will remove the mighty restraint that has been placed in the way of this evil. Once the Almighty removes this restraint from before the son of perdition, all hell will break loose on the earth literally. One last thing: the people who put their undying trust in Yahshua Jesus need not fear this evil man, for eternal life awaits them. When all is said and done, and when all the smoke clears, Almighty God will send His angel from heaven to take hold of Satan and toss him into the bottomless pit, bound by a chain. Almighty God YaHVeH reigns forever and forever and all of His judgments are 100% right and good, blessed be His name.
